Athena, High Priestess of the Temple, is betrayed by her husband Charon and her adopted sister Daphne. Her father is murdered, and she is thrown into the Styx. On the brink of death, she miraculously regains her hearing.She chooses to bide her time, pretending to be deaf and mute. Under the protection of the temple knight Theseus, she schemes in secret and gradually exposes Charon’s treason: the regicide, usurpation of the throne, and collusion with the God of the Underworld.In the end, Athena sacrifices all her memories to awaken her true divinity. She slays Charon, seals the gates of the Underworld, and ascends as the new King of Gods — yet loses every memory of Theseus forever.
